Birmingham Blogs launched!

Do you have a blog? Are you thinking of starting one? Birmingham Blogs aims to link to as many blogs at Birmingham as possible, maximising traffic to them and becoming a portal for blogging. If you have a blog you would like to see linked to from Birmingham Blogs (or even showcased), leave a comment on Birmingham Blogs with your blog's details (URL and purpose). Birmingham Blogs will hopefully become the first stop for anyone blogging about life, learning and teaching at Birmingham Uni.

  1. This is the blog I created to run alongside my third-year option module 'Fantasy and Fandom: Writing back to the medieval in modern fantasy literature'. It was designed to provide pointers towards seminar material, introductions to key areas and extra discussion on issues we didn't get to discuss in seminars. Feedback on this blog from students during module evaluation was very enthusiastic even though they didn't comment much online. I plan on keeping the blog running on a more general basis until the option runs again next spring, when it will again begin to deal with module-specific material.

  2. Done! We now have an RSS to the Bham Blogs side widget thingy!
