“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.” (Carl Rogers)

Reasons to be Cheerful (Part Eighteen) - and review

Another review? Really? Wow...

Wilkie Collins and Sweeney Agonistes, walking and writing.

A stunning and moving walk between Caistor and Tealby that we continue very soon.

And a finished chapter on american and humanistic education, which has been difficult to write but which has released energy in the overall argument.

And The Love Café's energised people and ideas...

Reasons to be Cheerful (Part Eighteen)

Discovering musical impressionism thanks to the very wonderful Craig Wright, which has given me freedom in my links between Blake's song - I now realise that I don't have to have beat or melody, rather I can dab colour to prolong and extend the emotional atmosphere. And I also better understand Debussy and Ravel and old friend of this blog, Ottorino Respighi.

Popped along to the Cleethorpes Folk and Cider Festival for a few hours - a nice atmosphere and some lovely old friends from punkie days.
